I saw that in a grindhouse in the early 80s. I don't remember too much about it other than Rip Torn is in it and the killer always twists the knife inside someone after stabbing them.

Scream Factory had been releasing the Dark Castle films in release order, and Gothika should have been next. I imagine they chose to release House of Wax before Gothika because they thought it would sell better, but that we will see Gothika and The Reaping at some point.

I've come to the definite realization that I am no longer a collector...nothing in the new batch I want nor anything since they came back except for the Amazons/Barbarian Queen release. The old me would have found an excuse but now just focused on certain titles. I would do more Corman stuff like Firecracker and TNT Jackson though.

Already own a copy of The Reaping. OK timewaster - don't know if I need a CE. Actually, all of these Dark Castle titles have perfectly good existing Blu-rays. I double dipped for a couple of them just to have a standalone version. I'm not too crazy about double feature Blu's unless they're really cheap grindhouse-type films.

After yesterday's batch of Warner announcements I thought I'd post an updated list of potential Warner titles (just those without a prior Blu-ray release in the US). I've not included anything pre-1950, since I suspect Warner Archive is now the most likely outlet for these. I have included HBO titles, though I expect these are probably out of bounds:
