That reminds me of when me and my family rented films from Movie Gallery in Alabama good times I miss that store. Movie Gallery and Blockbuster were the two stores I rented movies and games from the most.

Oh it does look bad but that's why I placed the quotes around hype. Still though, being part of a well known IP will have people placing orders.

$30 price tag doesn't help though. Now...Venomous though, THAT I see collecting some dust in their warehouse for a while lol

In a way I'm glad they're not announcing any exclusives I'm interested in. They're charging twice what they should for minimal effort. Pretty much anything from the last 25 years I'm likely going to ignore anyway.

However, to be fair, I personally allow a little more "wiggle room" for films and television series so for me it's more like the last 17 years...

Maybe they should start a tiered system of exclusive scratch-free titles if these latest lame exclusives are the best they can muster. Tier 1: guaranteed scratch free disc, $39.99. Tier 2: guaranteed to have no scratch longer than half an inch, $34.99. Tier 3: disc might be a Tier 1 or 2 but you get a free pin set!, $59.99.

I went ahead and got Cockfighter to get free shipping. $21.99 might be the lowest it gets from this point forward (and it's still too high for the lower quality of the release) and considering it has been out almost 2 years and still has almost 100 in stock, I doubt it'll be one they remaster or release again. I also grabbed Warning Sign and the double feature of Crazy Mama and The Lady in Red.

That was my thought as well. There are a few titles I'd have a passing interest in if the discounts were slightly better, but as is, the sale didn't resonate nor did it give me the impression that Shout was in a hurry to sell these.
