Sometimes that's the case but not always. MGM has released some of their older titles (like Diary of a Hitman and Crooked Hearts) on their own label. Many of these films don't have a prior Blu-ray release. Boutique labels like Kino have passed on some of these titles and refused to release them due to them thinking that they wouldn't sell.

I would love help to update this poll and open it up again, but I think it's safe to say they have plenty of titles to get/release, they just can't be picky, but I also assume the majority of what I would love to be released would be Shout Factory website exclusives, but still better than nothing
I'm just curious if they're going to release anymore Corman titles. Would like to see Not Like Us on Blu-ray.

I have the laserdisc and I think it is 88 min long. It could be problem with elements that we have not got a uncut bluray release.

The Vidmark laserdisc states 83 minutes although that could be wrong.

+1. And it would also be nice to see Streets (1990) on BD as well.

Sometimes the conversion between NTSC and PAL can throw off the running time by a few mins.

I personally enjoy all 3. A boxset would be nice to have on the shelf.
I'm pretty sure I've read on these boards that the OCN for 3 is missing, and the surviving elements aren't in good shape.

According to the lddb the time is wrong on the jacket.
Jacket wrongly lists running time as 83 minutes.

Yes, about 4 min on a 90 min film if I remember correctly. Was wondering if the DVD is a PAL disc. If so, then it should have a short time.

Pretty sure I read somewhere that there's not any prints of the sequels to get 4k from. So blu ray will probably be as good as it gets. Scream also doesn't have the rights to the sequels anymore. Apparently they're with Kino now but they supposedly don't have any interest to release them which is kinda confusing since they've released much worse before like New Year's Evil

I haven't seen any actual proof that Kino has the rights to them. I've only seen a response on Twitter where the Insider says they wouldn't have interest in releasing them.

If there is proof though, I'd like to see it. Even if they don't like the films, if they were forced to take them in a package deal~they would try and recoup their $$ spent by releasing them.

Yeah, that's a weird one. New Year's Evil is just awful. Not a good film, not terrible in a way that's entertaining for unintended reasons, just dull and ineptly made. I have no interest in it, but I'd buy Sleepaway Camp 2 on release day.

Based on some hints and what's now streaming on Shout TV, looks like we are going to get hit by a giant wave of HK titles from Shout. With the Arrow and 88 films announcements, it's going to get crazy again it seems.

Sweet cool beans more Sonny Chiba new to Blu-Ray titles are coming once again. Along with more Chuck Norris new to Blu-Ray stuff, and more Hong Kong action films.

Is more Sonny Chiba coming? I haven't heard anything just yet, although I'm sure more will be coming soon. I just wish someone would release GI Samurai already. Damn good movie and one of his best.
