Default 24fs bd-p1200 and sharp Aquos LC-32gp1u

I am having no luck figuring out how to get my setup to play in 24fs. Both devices have the option in the menu, but neither one will let me select it. In the p1200 manual it says if your tv can't support 24fs you can't select it. I can't select it on the display either. Anyone have a suggestion or have experience with this? Thanks

Your 32 inch 1080P HDTV TV has 6 1080P/60 inputs but no 1080P/24 inputs. Even though your display does not support 1080P/24 it is the nicest 1080P display in the screen size of 32 inches that I have seen so far. It’s hard to find a 1080P display that is under 37 inches (accept computer monitors). Your Sharp has a nice 10,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio which is great for a 32 inch LCD. You have 3 HDMI, 1 DVI, and 2 component inputs that all accept 1080P/60 inputs. This is kind of a cool 32 inch set for someone that does not have room for a bigger set.
If you really want a 1080P/24 display that refreshes at multiplies of the original frame you will need to purchase a new display.

Wait a minute.

You mean to tell me, that the new Sony tv's that are 24p capable, have a seperate HDMI input for 24p source?

You see, I was planning on buying a 24p capable tv from Sony. And I was planing to use my PS3 as Blu-ray and Gaming system.

Now, my question is:
Do I need to switch my HMDI input on my tv?
for instance:
When I watch a Blu-ray, I need to get up, en put the HDMI cable in the 24p capable HDMI port on my tv.
And when I play a video game, I need to get up and switch the HDMI cable to 60p capable HDMI port on my tv.
Is that correct?
I REALLY hope not.

The new Sony’s that have a 1080P/24 input and all other displays on the market that have a 1080P/24 input will also accept 1080/60 and some will do 1080P/30. There is no special HDMI jack for 1080P/24. The circuitry in the display will automatically detect if it is receiving a 1080P/24 or 1080P/60 signal input.
Sorry if my above post was a little confusing. I should have used the word 1080P/24 support instead of the word “input”
