Ghostbusters - Blu-ray Forum

Bunch of my friends including myself have gotten Ghostbusters on Blu from Bestbuy in Whitehall PA. Disc seems to have a java problem when getting into the menu (right when you see the license plate on the car) the words are scrambled and you cant play the disc.

Firmware is updated on all players, have been playing discs just fine, this is the first release that has done this. anyone else run into a problem? I'm guessing it's a bad batch

I had the problem starting up the menu as well, but my Samsung p1500 was able to chug through it eventually (I think with a d-pad press assisting). After that, the menu worked normally.

Played fine on my PS3 tonight.

I also have network connectevity turned off. Dont know if that's involved, but figured I'd mention it.

I have played it a couple of times in my PS3, with the newest firmware, connected to the internet, and it hasn't missed a beat on me yet.

I had problems with my Samsung BD player in the menu. I gave up trying to get to the movie and tried it in my PS3 and it worked perfectly.
