Event Horizon ending? - Blu-ray Forum

Was thinking of getting this on Blu!!!

I remember most of it up until the end? Was that scary vision of the sam neil character real?

It's a little ambiguous. Could have been a nightmare of Joely Richardson's character or "something" was transferred to the escape ship before leaving.

Great flick. The only thing really worthwhile Anderson has really made. The BD looks and sounds fantastic.

Huh, I always thought he was real, but all posessed and evil.

He's referring to the coda at the end with Starck and Cooper waking up in the escape pod after being boarded by the rescue party.

Anybody know if this was a good transfer? I love this movie. A great combo to watch this and then play some dead space.

I own the movie and enjoy it, however it got a little silly at the end. It actually had some suspense then it turned into hellraiser. Similar to what happened in Sunshine.

I liked Sunshine better, though they are pretty much the same film.

I thought both movies had such great potential that they failed to live up to.

Going by the screens on this site, its worth it if you like the film.

I thought the audio was poor actually. The voices were not recorded well so its all muffled.

It's just one of the rescue guys standing there isn't it? Couldn't see any dark figure when I had a look.

I haven't seen the movie in years, thought it was pretty cool. the ambient thrumb of the EH's engines was significant. thought most of the gore was cool but that one video sequence had real terror to it. That hell orgy played on my mind for sometime, (it looked like we were watching someone place his arm into his own throat to remove his internal organs.) I reckon that was inspiration for an episode of Star Trek: Enterprise, season 3 with the Vulcan's lost in the expanse, their zombie like nature was very similar. Maybe it was a video replay played back to the Vulcan/Starfleet council iirc?.

Old news and nothing new in that Dark Horizons post. It would be great if the missing footage existed, but I don't think it will happen. Although anything is possible. Just look at Nightbreed. I won't be holding my breath though.

That's what they thought of the scenes in Army of Darkness too and they found them stashed somewhere in a far away country.
