Default Living Room set-up dilemma....

I am going to be moving into my first apartment soon, and I can't make up my damn mind of what I want to do. I will post pictures of the TV I am getting along with the Entertainment Center Options that I am looking at, and I want you to tell me what looks better...

The thing is, if I go with the wooden entertainment center, I have a sofa, loveseat, and coffee table picked out that will go together with the look of that entertainment center. Same thing goes for the glass stand with the dvd racks. I'm just not sure... Thoughts?

I'm a fan of the glass/silver/black motif myself. Personally, I believe that the entertainment centre should match with the TV and not the furniture. Since the TV is black/silver, that would be my suggestion. Also, I would rethink the sofa and stuff to try and match as well... black leather perhaps?

Go with the glass setup it looks sharper and with the dvd racks you can put them where you want.

Yes sir, I have a black leather reclining sofa, loveseat and glass coffee table all picked out. Problem is, the glass/black/leather setup is way more expensive then the other theme lol

I like this one better than the one in my above picture. So use this one in place of the one that is up there...

I'm partial to the wooden one because it'll hide wires better. Here's mine:

Don't mind the distorted curvature of the unit along the top of the pic - my camera's been doing that lately.

My living room setup has the silver/black/glass thing going, from the 60XBR1 SXRD and it's stand to the coffee table to the lamps, to the speaker stands.

Ignore the feminine acouterments on the speakers.

I prefer the more modern looking one. But my 400lb 72 inch monster would break it. LOL

Cool

While I do love the top set because it has a modern look, I would probably choose the bottom unit. As long as its adjustable to accommodate different sizes of tvs. The storage space seems adequate and the unit will help hide all those nasty cables and wires, giving your setup a super clean look.
