Default After Burn

I was thinking of hooking my pc to my lcd hdtv screen! But my only thought is im worried about after burn on the screen if im on the pc for too long!

i.e. i will see the desktop items burnt in too the screen

do i need to worry about this on a lcd screen or is it only plasmas.

Some people claim that "cheap" lcd brand could have a burn-in effect, but I myself have never seen that. Only with plasmas. I wouldn't worry too much about that if I were you. I'd encourage you to use your lcd tv however you feel like it, even as a computer monitor.

I've never had burn-in on plasma or an lcd, and I play a lot of video games with HUD.
