Who hates stickers on box cover Blu-rays - Blu-ray Forum

Now I understand that for some people getting the sticky goo or even the sticker itself off your slip box cover is easy, & for others like me it isn't.

I hate it when they don't peel off easily. Rubbing alcohol does wonders, though.

They used to bother me, but like you said, it's very easy to get the residue off, so now I don't care. What methods are you using? I can personally vouch that a q-tip and a dab of rubbing alcohol works every time. It never ruins the cardboard or the packaging.

I tried that, but I don't really like the smell. Alcohol evaporates quickly and leaves no odor.

Yeah well then that explains it I definitely have OCD not a bad case I would say but noticeable where my dad & brother make fun of me lol.I'm going to try that Goo Gone for sure & i can get it from any super center?

Oh come on. It's not that bad and only last for a minute or two.

Yes, but cost twice or 3x as much and rubbing alcohol does the job just fine.

And I also hate all the stupid stickers, why can't they just put them on the plastic wrap instead.

Not every time...

That method ruined my "Dances With Wolves", "Jonah Hex", and one other that I can't remember right now.

It works with most slips though.

You can NOT use any kind of liquid substance on your Dances With Wolves slipcover. It will ruin the velvety texture.

I was more concerned with the ink rubbing off just like Jonah Hex did too... Best Buy stickers are the worst, they don't peel off of the Dances slip at all. And Goo Gone tends to leave a greasy residue on certain slipcover types.
