I have a PS3 and a Samsung 50'' 1080p DLP

Has anyone watched The Reaping on BLU-RAY yet? I thought the picture quality was really bad at some parts. Is it my setup or the movie itself? I had some friends over to watch this and to show off BLU-RAY. They were not impressed.
I almost want to get a hold of the regular DVD version to see if that one looks bad also. Just curious if anyone else has had the same issue.

Well, hidefdigest thinks the same as you for both formats (3 out of 5 video). Mine should be here today or tomorrow, but I'm looking forward to seeing it regardless.

Cool. Thanks for the post. I saw alot of noise and static in dark parts of the movie. I have also noticied bad PQ in 300 and parts of Planet Earth. For the most part I am happy with BLU. My other Blu-rays look fantastic but if it is 30 dollars a disc and suppose to be Beyond High Definition no movie should look bad. Just my 2 cents.

It must be your setup because there is nothing Blu that these eyes have not been impressed with, But WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GO buy some more amazing Blu rays and they'll knock your socks off.

You may want to take advantage of BOGO Sale and take a nice STOMP on DUD

Yeah I watched last night video sucked and overall the movie sucked. I almost contiplated turning it off but my girlfriend wanted to finish it. Thank god it was a netflix movie. All I have to be upset about is the 95 minutes of my life I wish I could get back!

Thank you aqupunk for your honest post. I felt the same. PQ sucked and the movie sucked. We almost shut it off also. Movies like this will give BLU a bad name. My friends were far from impressed.
