Resident Evil Extinction - was more the movie than the BD itself though.

28 Days Later

I know it's not Blu Ray's fault in hindsight as it was filmed on digital SD but still.

I've gotten quite a few BDs...however, I bought Norbit for some friends and family members who had seen it in the past. I now wish I hadn't picked it up!!!

This is the only title I've said immediately after watching, it's a waste of $30. Every other movie has had value. Not this one. $5 at most. If Pixar had not put that crazy annoying music in the menus, maybe it would be a $8 value. Maybe.

The other was Payback Straight Up. Don't like it at all. Give me the regular version. Hate the Straight Up crap. But at least it was more enjoyable than Pixar.

Matters of taste-- your experience will vary. If you enjoy Pixar's work, you will enjoy this BD. It's part history, too. Several of the newer bits were extremely clever and entertaining. Maybe a bit short for the money--you never have to pay $30 for a BD if you bargain-shop. Usually in the $20 or less range works.

Any of the 'Entertainment In Video' releases in the UK which include:

The Crow
The Departed
Lucky Number Slevin
Next

All mediocre PQ and standard 5.1.

EDIT - although I should point out 3 out of those 4 are great films though. I'm not criticising the movies, just the BD.
