Default Kim Komando recommends Blu-ray!

A radio commercial I just heard had Kim Komando recommending Blu-ray as the HD player of choice. She said especially because of the Warner decision, Blu is the way to go.

The media is actually going to help us win the war, the more articles and support from media types, the more people hear that Blu has won, so the more it does.

Awsome!

BTW, I am about to pull the trigger on a new Dell XPS 420 with $700 off which includes a Blu-ray burner! SWEET!

and it appears that Warner helped change her recommendation where she was basically neutral before recommending a dual format player. This is great! Another convert!

Default Kim Komando declares HD DVD dead

Radio tech talk show host Kim Komando declares HD DVD dead and the format to choose for sure is Blu-ray.

Do a search of previous threads for more information on Kim Komando and who she is etc...

She has a pretty good program which reaches quite a lot of people. Not sure how much of her audience wouldn't already be aware of the facts, but there you go. The call in's at least seem to be at the lower end of the tech knowledge scale...

Previously she was on the fence. Then she tilted Blu, and now she is full out declaring Blu the winner and HD DVD dead. So the more people in the media that get that word out there the better. She has a little 1 minute "update" on the Phoenix radio station during a prime show, so lots of people hear her saying that. That is good stuff.

With the national audience the Kim K. has, plus a good deal of respect - mainly addressing questions for the average person, this is really good. (btw. Kim wouldn't say this unless there was absolutely no question about it.)
