Default HD-DVD.com redirects to Amazon HD DVD page (now Toshiba's statement)

HD-DVD.com
It now takes you to Amazon

Try it yourself.

Huh. When I clicked on the link it took me to a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. A dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. A middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, that lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. It is an area which we call "The Twilight Zone".

HD-DVD.com is not thelookandsoundofperfect.com

HD-DVD.com is out sister site/forum for HD-DVD users.

They're talking about HD-DVD.com, which was a site a lot like this one, Blu-ray.com , except playing for the other side. They're not talking about the official HD DVD site.

That URL now just dumps you in the Amazon.com HD DVD store front page.

Has it actually been officially established that the same people owned Blu-ray.com and HD-DVD.com? I thought all that was known is they used the same holding service for anonymously owned domains, which doesn't necessarily mean anything.

EDIT: Apparently it's well known that Blu-ray.com and HD-DVD.com are owned by the same people and they have some of the same moderators.

Seriously though---This is a BIG sign. The end is closer then you think.

Toshiba is about to fold up the tent.

They will be bringing a 2.0 player at a reasonable cost to market summer/fall!!

The Format War is OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
