Hey guys, for those of you that just downloaded the new firmware, what do you think about the new Playstation Store?

I find it to be a definite improvement compared to the original. I for one must agree that it has a cleaner interface and nicer look.

i 100% agree and i love how they put New Releases all into 1 section

I love how it looks. The new layout is so much cleaner than before, making it easier to find what I want. My only complaint is that GT5: Prologue wasn't up yet for download. Other than that, it's wonderful.

Here's my question; How can you have three PS3's and only two TV's.

meh seemed to have trouble loading when I went on it could be so many people were clicking it btw its fine lol

Im going to give it another day before I decide when I first tried it I was disapointed completely...

It seems the icons loading was even slower then before, waited a couple
of minutes and only one icon loaded up...

I did not have the time to play with the store for too long since I had to get ready for work.

i really doubt the store will always be that slow. you cant deny the interface is wayyyy better tho

I just wish everything was dated properly, the downloads and the folders holding them dated with the date of the most recent content within.

Im not sure, I was groggy and did need to go to work so Im going to hold my opinion down and assume it was a fluke and everything will be better when I get home.

So my need to rush out the door impended any long observation which is what would be needed anyway to form any form of a opinion.

Which is why I did not vote yet.

So far it feels like the same interface just moved some of the objects inside the GUI around.
Course I had my tv on 720p, ill move it back to 1080p when I get home and see if that makes
a difference or makes me happier...

*I noticed ps2 games look better at 720 then 1080 specially the ones that have no wide screen option....*

The big pictures loaded up quickly but all the buttons didn't... lol

I sense the network is feeling the pain of 5 or so million ps3s try to download the same picture files...

starts very quickly,

easy to navigate, able to go back a page using the O (circle/back),

preview icons did not appear until 30-60 secs after. i could cursor over them and read the text but no preview pic so i wasn't able to see everything available at once,

I keep getting an error message when I try to get into the store...something about connection to server lost...WTF!
