Anyone see the NBC news article on HDDVD and BD - Blu-ray Forum

It was a couple of nights ago, but all the information was either wrong or outdated for Blu-ray. It basically said that you had to spend $1000 for a BD player, and HDDVD players were all around $499 and that MOST movies were either on one format or the other so you would not be able to watch them if you had the other player. Guess that is typical of news in general.

NBC = Universal.

They had it on the Today show a while back as well, spreading BS against Blu-Ray.

Hmm, maybe Fox should put it in a episode of The Simpsons, where bart gets a PS3 and then discovers blu-ray LOL.

They already did it for The O.C. Anime on Blu-ray. It wouldn't surprise me.

Interesting. While I was at Fry's last night I seen the Samsung blu-ray player go for 599. These people need to learn to research before they go into unknown territory..

Don't forget that NBC is Microsoft with MSNBC.

We can see if ABC/Disney will fire a brainwashing retort in the opposite direction. Its sad that our news is like that of the USSR during the cold war.

MS only own 18% of MSNBC and are looking to get rid of it as they see it as old media.
