Gridiron Gang? - Blu-ray Forum

How is this movie? I have my main wants for next week already ordered: the Saws & Black Rain, but I'm willing to get an extra title too. It's between We Were Soldiers and Gridiron Gang. Any thoughts or recommendations? These are blind buys (I don't mind violence so the war stuff is not an issue).

I got this yesterday and watched it a few hours ago. It's a great movie, not as good as Remember the Titans but it's a good feeling movie when you see how all these kids forgot about all the bad and focused on the good. Anyways, PQ and SQ, it's no CRANK, but it's up there with the best of the best. Great movie and great audio and visual as well.

I thought GG was pretty well done. Made me want to become a social worker.

There's one shot that amazed me in GG. The lead character walked from the grounds in the hot sun into one of the hostels inside. The transition of the shot (changing of the aperture) was as smooth as it could get and in one take. I've never seen it done like that before. Pretty cool.

i also blind-bought Gridiron Gang (along with The Ant Bully) today. I hear it's a solid movie so I'm not worried.
