Default Can someone who knows Amazon well explain this?

I'm still waiting on Vantage Point. I checked the shipping status and got this:

Date Time Location Event Details
July 11, 2008 01:52:00 AM FOREST PARK IL Arrival Scan
July 10, 2008 11:47:00 PM FOREST PARK IL Arrival Scan
July 01, 2008 03:52:00 AM FOREST PARK IL Shipment has left seller facility and is in transit

WHy is the arrival scan in the same place it left 10 days ago?

how long ago did you order and when was you suppose to get it.
if it doesnt arrive on the day of estimated delivery i would email or call them
Those event details could be just screwed up tho and the package be on the way....Worst case scenerio...you dont get...call and ask why...maybe they give it to you for free...or a deal.

I ordered it about a month ago I'm guessing. It was well before it went on sale. It;s getting old waiting on this title.

You definitely need to contact amazon on this. UPS wouldn't take this long without there being some sort of problem. I assume you used free super-saver shipping?

EDIT: Never mind, Just thought, super-saver shipping is USPS.

I still say contact amazon, they will almost certainly send a replacement free if the package can be proved lost.

Sheesh, my Batman Begins took 5 days to get here from Jacksonville. I'm in Miami. I could've made that 10 hour two-way drive myself...if...gas...was...10...cents...a...gallon.

Just to clarify, that is a problem with USPS not Amazon per se. Although Amazon might step in to resolve it. But looking at that log, it looks like USPS lost the package for 10 days and then found it and rescanned it in...

The "Arrival Scan" time is the time it arrives at the shipping facility, like the UPS warehouse. It is no the time it arrives at your residence. That is the delivery date/time. Looks like your item may be back ordered.
