Panasonic BD30 Playback Problem Help! - Blu-ray Forum

I just updated my player to 2.0 for europe/uk and it has improved the picture quality for my uk standard dvds but when i play a standard R0 american dvd there is loads of digital effects in the quality and looks realy bad!

Is there any way to fix this?? also is the 2.5 firmware update just for american players?

Hi, I live in Ireland, and have the Panasonic BD30 player which I got from the US, I have the latest update (2.5) in it, unfortunately the 2.5 update is for the US model only and not for the uk/europe model. you can always email Panasonic about the problem you are having and see what they say to you. Hope this helps.
