Default Which BD Player manufacturers provide the best firmware support?

Hi all. I'm thinking of buying a second player for my main t.v. room. I have a magnavox player now, a solid player so far, but I want to upgrade. Which player manufacturers provide the best firmware support?

Thanks.

To my knowledge, Pioneer is quick to produce FW updates. However that is only the case, because Pioneer is using a totally new chipset in their players, and there have been a few bugs along the way.

After the 4th FW update, it is the most stable player yet. No freezes, or skips, improved load times, etc.

Which could be a good thing or bad thing if you think about. Most players are on there 1st of 2nd FW. I'll look past the "bugs" in reward for more "tweak-ability" than any other BR player.

Sony.

I had the S301 player for well over a year. Their fw updates were the key to the successful operation of that player. I never had any problems playing any BDs.

On, BF I bought the S350. It's last update is the v010 released in September. It has played every new BD release I got flawlessly so far.

PS3 is not a manufacturer. Sony supports all of its players very well. My BD-S1 is still better than many on the market.
