Default Panasonic Viera link with onkyo 606

I have a Panasonic th4685u plasma tv and an Onkyo 606 reciever. I read somewhere a while ago that you can use your Onkyo 606 with the Viera link on the Plasma. Has anyone had any with this.

I actually just figured it out. When I turn on the TV the reciever also turns on, and the volume on the tv remote controls the reciever volume.
