Default Which Player for Viera Link; AKA Consumer Electronics Control

Hi Guys,

Just purchaed a Panasonic TX-P42V10 and was thrilled how simple the setup was. I was amazed that it controlled by Onkyo 605 volume and power controls out of the box. Did some research and learned about this Consumer Electronics Control feature which comes with HDMI.

I like the fact that if i turn of TV, the AV reciever turns off too. Now I would like this to work with my Blu-Ray player too. I want to be able to switch on blu-ray player and for my onkyo to switch over to right hdmi channel.

My current setup is Panasonic V10 TV, Onkyo 605 AV reciever, PS3 blu-ray player, SKY HD box.

I think a lot of players would work but i cant seem to get PS3 to co-operate at all.

Anyone suggest which player to go for?

Thanks,
