Default Media that is recognizable by PS3

I have tried 2 different 50 gb bd-re's to no avail. a TDK and a Panasonic 50 gb. I am really pissed cause I can't burn any discs that are recognizable by my ps3. I think these disc's are 2.1 bul rayformat is that the problem? I am burning UDF 2.5. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

I'm using a TDK 50GB BD-RW, it works fine. What are you burning; files, BD content? What do you mean 2.1 Blu-ray format?

What files are you trying to burn? .avi or .mpg's? .jpgs?

I am talking just about bd-re's not bd-rw. I am just burning a bdmv folder.

Oops, I meant -RE... RE, RW... same thing. Anyway, you should burn the Certificate folder too.

I have a 50 gb panasonic 50 bd-re and it is not being read in my PS3. It does however play in Cyberlink Power Dvd. Anyone know what can be wrong?
