Ok I agreed to a trade with a member at highdef we both exchanged our mailing address I sent out my blu ray trade with my DC# to his address. He sent his blu ray trade to my address with his DC#.
After a few days I checked the confirmation # and it said that the blu ray was delivered on 1/29/09. It is now 2/2/09 and still have not received it. I contacted the trader and told him if he shipped it to the right address and he said yes. Now i need your help of what can be done because this has never happened to me trough all the times that i have traded at bluray.com and highdefdigest.com I would appreciate any help. Thanks. |

Whenever possible, I buy postage through Paypal. The DCN is then attached to the addresses of the sender and recipient. I know it doesn't help now, but it may for later trades. You can insist on shipping methods for trades. It's also less expensive than mailing from the post office.

Could also be a case of being delivered to the wrong place. I ended up getting a PO Box as the mail person isn't very reliable. I somewhat frequently get other peoples mail and as far as dropping things at the front door...I've actually watched him throw a package over the fence "toward" the front door. Just a couple days ago, had a package delivered two doors down and at least that neighbor brought it over. I generally plop the mail back at the post office unless a bill...I'd give some benefit of doubt unless you've read about this particular person not following thru on other trades. It is obviously an honor deal as there is nothing else you really can do and, if it doesn't show up, at least it was a Blu and not something more expensive.
