Romantic Comedies Worth Watching? - Blu-ray Forum

So my collection severely lacks the above, and some recommendations would be great. The girlfriend would be more than happy to sit down and watch a leisurely romantic comedy instead of the regular action title or slapstick comedy in my movie collection. So far we recently watched Knocked Up for the first time which me both enjoyed.

im going w/ that + zack and mari + that dane cook jessica alba movie, all of which I like

and Gday has to be that because everything centers around the girl after the first 30 min's

When The Wedding Singer Blu-ray comes out in April, definitely add it to your collection!

The House Bunny is light-hearted comedy with a very tiny bit of romance... still I think it'd apply.

Fantastic film with great dialogue, but I def do not consider it romantic comedy, despite a few funny moments.

My vote goes to When Harry Met Sally. To me, it has the best dialogue of any romantic comedy, and succeeds despite not caring all too much about the romantic aspect.

Great film but thats a guys movie. I have never met a girl yet that likes Groundhog Day and most guys I have talked to about the subject love that film! Hence it's in my collection.

"Just Friends", leans more towards comedy than romance but a cool chick should dig it as well.

also, did anyone suggest "Irreversible" yet?

Ricky Gervaiis' Ghost Town is a really good movie, but it's not your typical romantic comedy

If you liked Knocked Up, you could probably take a look at the other Apatow features involving romance. The 40 Year Old Virgin and Forgetting Sarah Marshall are both great too.

But yeah, pretty much what everyone else said too, and I'd especially like to point again to The Wedding Singer's April release. Might even be worth checking out Groundhog Day if you've never seen it.

there's nothing like a good romantic comedy.. i wish Just Like Heaven with Reese Witherspoon would come out on blu-ray.. also Love Actually... i think its slated for a frence release soon, so hopefully its not far off.
