FUEL hitting PS3 on

Did a search and didn't see anything on this game coming up. Looks crazy. Supposed to be open environment, much like Burnout Paradise. I'm definitely getting this when it comes out.

It is planned to be an open world racing game, set in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by global warming, with players experiencing varying weather effects such as tornadoes and sandstorms and a full day-night cycle. The game world is said to be over 5,000 square miles (14,000 km²) in size and be completely free to roam. Developers have said the game will feature no loading times while racing from one point to another. The players get to choose from 70 different vehicles across 6 different classes, Bikes, ATVs, Muscle cars, SUVs, Buggies and Trucks as well as a hovercraft.

There's something to be said for making a large-scale off-road racing game topical by invoking the potentially disastrous effects of global warming on an environment and the chaotic weather that ensues. Although this might initially seem like a narrative crutch to explain why there isn't much civilian traffic in Fuel's massive expanse of open-world land (5,000 square miles loosely based on the Pacific Northwest), drastic shifts in weather patterns play an important role in some races.

In fact, one of the earliest races available on the map essentially pits your muscle car against a series of tornados that not only wreak havoc on your vehicle, but on surrounding objects in the environment as well, including massive power lines that come crashing down on the track. In another race, a massive dust storm sweeps through the landscape, limiting your field of view, which in turn makes shortcuts off of the beaten path a riskier proposition.

I like the fact that it includes the MPH. that's one of the very few things I don't like about Burnout Paradise.

i had a ton of interest in this game UNTIL they took the fuel conservation aspect out of it .. when first announced this game was the road warrior and would have rocked . now its just another racing game ..

and can someone tell me why Wikipedia isn't added to the Blacklist!?

I mean if you had examined all those sites in your blacklist to have a bad credible source.
The first to be on the list should be Wikipedia! Since anybody or any idiot can edit the page and add false information.

This is outrageous and completely retarded!

I mean everyone knows that Wiki isn't a trusted site because anyone can add anything, and then you can look at those blacklisted sites if they are trusted or not.
