![]() ![]() They both use SXRD technology. The cheaper series is this one - KDS-60A3000. ![]() The more impressive one is the KDS-Z60XBR5. Read the Press Release here and to look at the higher resolution pix. The most impressive thing about this is that it is quite thin. Take a look at the other pix at the link above. The price is quite alright, I presume. fuad |

The KDS-Z70XBR5 has been delayed to 2008. No word if the 60" will make it to the market.

There was a backdoor link on the website to the 60" by going to the accessories section and selecting the stand. They took that away a few days ago. I guess some webmaster noticed when I signed up to be notified when it is available. I'd bet the 60" will be back.

So, though the Sony Web site says that the new 60-inch rear projection TV is currently "Out of Stock," I apparently (yay!) got one while they were still "In Stock" early last week. Since this is my first hi def TV, and I bought the newest Sony Blu-ray player that's sitting in its box on my living room floor, waiting to hook up to the TV when it arrives (I ordered the matching stand, but that still says that it's "Out of Stock".), I can't wait to fire it up, put in a Blu-ray disk, and witness first hand what the fuss is all about. ![]() -Greg |

The delay of the XBR5 line probably affects both 60" and 70" sets. I prefer the XBR5 line. fuad |
