Default Would This Be A Good System?

Rear Speakers: Polk Audio Monitor 30 2-way

Center Speaker: Polk Audio Monitor CS1

Front Speakers: Polk Audio Monitor 70 3-way Floor Standing

Sub: Polk Audio PSW125

Receiver: Onkyo SR805 or would that be overkill for what I'm buying.

two suggestions...

Polk Audio Monitor Series CS2 Center Channel Speaker

and

Elemental Designs A2-300 Subwoofer.....or..... Acoustech H-100 Subwoofer

...other than that I think the choices are great. The Onkyo 805 would definitely complement those speakers.

Thanks for your suggestions, I'm getting a really good deal on CS1, I'm getting it for under $100. Would the CS2 be that much better to where another $100 would be worth it?

I have the CS1 and love it, I think the CS2 would be a better match for the drivers in the Monitor 70s though (6 1/2 inch instead of 5 1/4, the tweeter is the EXACT same). I have the Monitor 50s and the CS1 sounds great with them. I also have Monitor 30s for surrounds and love them as well.

I purchased this to upgrade my CS1. I am surprised how clear the difference in sound quality is compared to the CS1

Dialogue sounds like they are in the room with you. A lot more clearer than the cs1 model, worth the extra money.
