PS3 FIFA 09 graphics 'at least as good' as 360 version, why does that not reasure me?

i am actually excited about this game. i loved 08...heck i have bought every copy since the genesis days lol! it is going to take time for the ps3 to have parity with the 360 in terms of graphics because just like they said...they know how to get the best out of the 360 due to the fact they have been working on it that much longer. now companies have had a couple fo years to get used to the ps3 it will start to shine! looking forward to this one!

i myself will wait for pro evo 2009, even though they dont have all the licences, things are looking up, they got the champions league license, roll on the new season

thats still only one license. untill they get all the kits and stadiums then fifa is a winner for me. Plus, fifa 08 played very well and i enjoyed it much more than pro evo. My main issue was with the bad framerate on the starting videos and close up of players etc, i am abit of a framrate addict but i like to have a game smooth. The fact that be a pro mode was slow wasn't good as it was meant to be an exciting new feature but at times it just jolted along.

and please don't have roonney and ronaldiniho as front cover for the 4th year running

Hey did anyone ever play the World Tour Soccer series?

I remember a list of potential PS3 games, PS3 World Tour Soccer was on it. I remember the PS2 versions had an insane number of teams(world and pro) and you could play world cup!

If they did I would hope it comes out beter than the originals(like Killzone) with photo realistic graphics and complex AI!

I just hope they upgrade the graphics on evo for next year.

I'll check out Fifa, but i've always liked winning eleven/pro evo's gameplay better.

Sorry 08 was rubbish. I sold it on eBay a while after. My mate and I loved the FIFA series, but this one was just rushed out for the console market. TBH I also wasn't impressed with PES 2008 either.

I only hope that FIFA 2009 will be a much better refinement than 08.

Yeah thats what I thought!....I wish they would merge the two, PES gameplay/physics with FIFA 08 team Licensing!

+1. at least the crowd. Crowd looks better on my PSP games on nhl07.and please NO LAG when the box is crowded.

the liscenses i don't mind so much, i was able to just download the options that people put up their on the forums and you have all the names, all the teams, and usually most of all the actual jerseys
