ugh...
1st gripe.. Wolverine is Canadian whats with the US Military Uniforms?
2nd gripe.. Gambit looks lame... very lame... they shoulda just casted VanDamme even if he is old and short
3rd gripe.. wheres Alpha Flight?!!! -_-

Was the movie being seen an advanced screening??? I haven't been to the theater in quite some time, but the screaming little girls (and 14 year old boys) in the audience would have driven me nuts!!!!!!!

As far as the preview goes...... It looks kinda cheesy, and they should should let this whole X-Men thing go already.... the first one was "alright" I guess.... but they just keep trying to latch onto the characters that everyone likes, and build loose plots around them.

this was at comic con. the second one was amazing and had a fantastic plot. better than the first. and had singer not left x-men i can guarantee you that the dark phoenix saga would've made it in x-men 3 without being so chopped up. he was setting that right up right. like all the great comic book writers do.

you can't have alpha flight. that would be too confusing for the audience. besides this is the origins story. i don't think alpha flight comes in till later.

right right i forgot alpha flight came after the whole weapon x deal in his timeline

so i guess my biggest gripe is Wolverine isn't Canadian now wth -_-

well since we have 2 threads..

Why does it look like they're making Wolverine American now??? He's CANADIAN dang it!

and Wolverine didnt have claws as a kid, originally there were many different ideas of wolverines origin 1 was he was a mutated wolverine, another was he just had gloves etc etc anyhow he's not supposed to have had claws as a kid... the bone claws were his bodys adaptation to having the adamantium in him not something that was there originally

after magneto stripped his adamantium his healing abilities worked much faster (prior to this they were tryiing a storyline in x-men that wolverines healing ability was also something the govt. gave him and not a natural thing)

anyhow they better KEEP Wolverine Canadian and not just have the Facility in Canada -_-

well if thats how they make it sweet, but its also supposed to be the canucks that gave him the adamantium (or a secret group working in canada)

that could be too. details at the moment are somewhat scant and all that we have to go by really is the trailer, but that's not on an official trailer. it's just the comic con trailer. i wonder though with the advent of you tube and technology do you think comic con will continue doing these kinds of things? or will they scale back to keep this kind of stuff off the net.

I know, I was also kind of confused about the scene with the kid and his claws. I thought Wolverine was given his claws by the people who worked for Striker, like we saw in X-Men 1 and 2.
