Question Onkyo 606 Question

Hey everyone, I have an Onkyo 606 and have a question about it. I have my PS3 connected to it with HDMI and I was wondering if there was anyway to listen to another audio source simultaneously while using my PS3. I would still like the PS3's audio to play but would also like say an MP3 player to play music at the same time. Is this at all possible?? Thanks.

Sorry buddy. There's no way of doing that. You can run some analog cables to your TV for sound if you'd like though.

Damn, that's kinda what I was thinking, but thanks for the reply. And I have a projector so I'm out of luck running it straight to the TV https://forum.blu-ray.com/images/smilies/icon_cool.gif Lol

Does your projector have analog audio inputs? Or are you SOL?

Actually you can do this, but you'll need to hook up some speakers to Zone 2, and then just turn zone 2 on and select your second source... The only thing is, it has to be connected via analog as zone 2 only outputs analog sources.
