Default The Happening Comes To Blu-ray On October 7th

Fox will soon announce The Happening for a Blu-ray release of October 7th, day and date with the DVD. Video transfer will come in standard 1080p, with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. 39.98 MSRP. Cover art will be posted as soon as it's revealed.

While I didn't hate the movie, I certainly didn't love it. Had a neat B movie feel to it though, and was better than what most critics thought (if I remember their thoughts correctly).

I may pick it up on sale one day myself, but I would highly recommend that this title is rented first if you haven't seen it and were thinking of buying it. I think Fox prices scare most blind-buyers away anyway though.

No surprises there. I'm really hoping this movie isn't as bad as everyone said it is because I'm considering a blind-buy on this.

meh not worth more then 1 watch, and if you havent seen it once its definately not worth buying to watch it for the first time

Was it anything ilke Signs and Lady in the Water? I found both of those to be the same type of Shyamalan movie (played out similarly). I didn't like either of them and they were the only two of his I didn't like. So if this is anything like those then I won't be buying it.

I thought the movie was terrible... but in an enjoyable way! when it's cheap i'll pick it up.

I personally liked this more than Signs (I didn't really like Signs), but I never saw Lady in the Water. I don't feel Signs and the Happening are that alike - not in story or mood. It's been a while since I've seen Signs though.
