As long as you don't spell the master's name "PressBurger", we're fine.

Seriously, it's only going to get worse for the day-and-date purchases. Hopefully Amazon has a few BOGOs come holiday time, because there's no way I can keep on preordering films week-in week-out. Thankfully, the last few months were kinda light on purchases for me.

Yes I doubt WB is gonna release The Smurfs on Blu Ray anytime soon... some things you just have to buy. I will NOT be purchasing VERTIGO, REAR WINDOW or PSYCHO on standard DVD ... i have too many copies of those already... Universal needs to just release them on Blu Ray not sure what is going on at Universal.

I'll be picking up Interview with the Vampire as well, although I withhold judgement on that until we receive specs with lossless audio included.

I still buy TV on SD-DVD. Of these disks, only one I'm interested in and have preordered is Beetlejuice.

I will be getting Beetlejuice and Sleeping Beauty (only because it's a Disney film and not many come around).

For the most part, that is a crappy list. I am one who will still buy TV on DVD for shows I know won't be coming to blu anytime soon. ER for instance. I have all on DVD. Will continue buying them too.

That is NOT a crappy list there are classics on that list. We all don't like 300.

I certainly don't see the logic in buying anymore DVD's (unless the content was filmed in standard def). It's only a matter of time until a Blu-ray version is released.
