Default Alright. Which 5 Stephen King movies would you like to be released in BLU?

Im a sucker for movies based of Stephen Kings books. Always thought this was a strange thing but all theese movies has diffrent directors and so on, but they somewhat captures the same "King:ian Style"

Released:

The Shining
1408 (europe)

We all know that Shawshank & The Mist & Carrie & Children of the corn is coming but which other 5 do u want on blu-ray?

think i have to go for theese:

1. Storm of the century (Guilty pleasure, i love this movie/minseries?)
2. It (Great 80´s styled movie, and that clown yikes)
3. The Stand (i must rewatch this, all i can remember is that it was awesome)
4. Pet Sematary (Scared the shit out of me when i were a kid)
5. Stand by Me (nostalgic, awesome adventure)

And again, im from Sweden so dont blame my English skills =)

i love most of his books but his movies pale in comparison to his books... imho only the green mile and shawshank are worthy movies.
I do have to say although theres a lot of his movies that didnt translate well from the book I love his choices in actors for the parts.
It especially although there was a lot of bad acting from good actors. Tim Curry is an exception.
Id like to see him play the riddler in the next batman movie.

Did anyone here like the TV version of The Shining? I found Steven Weber made a great Jack Torrance. Plus, Rebecca DeMornay was nowhere near as annoying as Shelley Duvall. I would love to own that on BD.

I don't care what most people think, really, but I actually prefer the tv version of The Shining to the Kubrick one. That old one just didn't do anything for me but put me to sleep.

I really liked the TV version. I would love to have all the mini-series on Blu-ray. But for my 5 movies:

1) Misery
2) The Shawshank Redemption
3) Green Mile
4) Stand By Me
5) Christine

Has anyone seen the Salem's Lot remake/mini-series? Is the DVD worth $5?

I've been reading and collecting all of his books since the beginning and so I feel that a lot of his stuff has been ruined.

The ones that I feel were done justice were:
The Dead Zone
The Shining(remade for television)
Shawshank Redemption(Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption)
The Green Mile
The Mist
and of course Stand By Me(The Body)

+1 compared to the books, the only really good movies were Shawshank, Green Mile, and the Shinning for its time.
