- How it will affect my sub's performance, will it increase or decrease bass SPL?

- How much will sound quality improve?

- Will any bass trap work? Or there are specs and calculations needed to get the best out of my setup?

I put a area rug under my sub. dont think it absorbs much below 80hz though.
