It didn't do very well but I want it and hope it'll get released sometime soon. Wish it would have been released along with Daredevil. It would have been nice to watch them back-to-back.

Yep, wish it would too. I actually did not go see it in the theater thinking it would not be very good (due to reviews I read and others that saw it), but I only recently caught it on TV the other week and I was pleasantly surprised. So here's hoping it gets released and the PQ is just as good!

I watched this last night and thought it looked really solid. I was always a huge fan of the DC so this was a great upgrade for me.

I'm a big daredevil fan, anything marvel, and i loved the director's cut of this film. the PQ was solid, nothing jumps out and not much pop to it. the way it was filmed probably prevents it from looking as great as the last 2 spidey flicks and hulk. blacks were very good as was the detail. but it again it didn't wow me. the SQ, which Fox is the best at, was 5 star. the rear surrounds make this movie, daredevils' radar comes to life. maybe it's just my gear but i can tell a great dts ma track from a great truehd track. most of my reference titles have dts ma or pcm uncompressed.

Did people actually like this film? Daredevil fans too? Did you actually like Affleck as the man without fear? He seemed out of shape and slow. And please keep Jon Favreau behind the camera, not in front of it.

In any event, this is a franchise that is in dire need of a reboot. I vote for Jason Statham (of course he would need a toupee). And someone who actually looks Mediterranean to play Elektra, not like a plain jane chick from Texas with dark eyeliner on. I liked Farrell as Bullseye. He's supposed to be an obnoxious dick, so it was a perfect fit.

As usual I strongly disagree with M. Liebman's view on the movie, 1.5 could have been the theatrical score, but the Director's cut deserves so much more, the characters are better developed and the whole story is decent, not one of the 10 worst for the theatrical.
The DC is actually enjoyable, at least as much as the overhyped 2 first X-men movies who were more about the mental and social condition of mutants than a superhero movie. Daredevil doesn't have incredible powers, he has strong human values and courage and that's all the film showed.
I'd be happy Blu-ray.com could get some new, perhaps less professional reviewers, as I won't even read any film opinion of Mr Liebman, maybe just the PQ and AQ comments.
