I agree 100%. I was big into rap in the 80's and 90's, but after that I gave it up. I just can't listen to crap like lil John, Nelly, and lil Wayne.

Its always a toss up between Rakim and Nas for me, I just give Nas a bit of an edge because he is faster. But as far as rhyme schemes go they are on the same level really.

But you should check out Little Brother if you do not already know who they are, they have a De La Soul/Tribe Called Quest feel to them.

These threads are all the same. Some website or magazine comes out with another list of "The Greatest" something. Then everyone lines up to tear it down and say how much it sucks. These lists are great discussion starters , but if you don't agree don't just *****, make your own list. I would like to see what people think.
I don't like the idea of rating artwork like sports stats, but I have no problem making a list of my favorites.

The hip hop I have liked since 2000 is Deltron 3030. Its kind of a futuristic concept album, but Del has amazing flow and delivery. Check it out, you won't be dissappointed.

I have had 3030 since 9th grade

My neighbor says I am to young to listen to all the stuff I listen to haha. We did a presentation my senior year of high school in english, and we were to play a song and dissect it as poetry and I did Mastermind off 3030
