Fans of Hip-Hop...Do You Find It Hard To Defend It??

Simple question. First off, I'm a fan of many genre's of music. I listen to Rap, Rock, Pop, Alternative, R&B, etc. But my main genre of music is rap. I love hip-hop. I'm not really into today's artist cause in my opinion, they're complete garbage. But do you as a hip hop fan find it hard to defend rap when things like "Bedrock" and stuff like that is getting airplay?

Honestly, I can see why I alot of people dislike rap culture....look at what gets played on the radio. I for one, don't listen to the radio unless I'm at work. I have an iPod full of songs that I listen to when I'm in my car. But, seriously, the amount of garbage that gets played on the radio is just...... Especially when there are artists out there with substance. There are artist out there that talk about things that matter and sadly, these artists don't get the exposure that they deserve.

So Hip-Hop fans, do you find it hard, these days to defend rap? I do!
