Wow, that's quite a shock (seriously). Should be interesting to see how Kirk reacts when he's sent to his room for breaking curfew. Just kidding of course but it was literally a shock to see how young they look. Anyway, I guess they're trying to rejuvenate their fan-base with younger blood and maybe that'll help. Even so, I'm still looking forward to the movie. Should be fun (and interesting).

Huge Star Trek fan, looking forward to see it, even if I dont consider this movie to fall into the timeline of Star Trek, too many things dont match...

McCoy and Scottie are suppose to be much older and were never at the academy with Kirk and the rest.

Still it will be fun to watch, set look's amazing.

I guess the thing that bothers me about the new movie right off that bat is that (aside from most of the cast looking like teenagers - and what, will there be a Hannah Montana or Jonas Brothers cameo?) the Enterprise looks severely upgraded from the original television show... possibly even more upgraded from the limited images available than any of the other Star Trek shows/movies put out to-date. I suppose my "willing suspension of disbelief" just can't handle it. If Trekkies like it, then great. I'll probably just pop in The Voyage Home instead.

Wow, he looks like spock. It'll be hard to separate him from the maniac villian he plays on Heroes.

I hope this movie does well. Star Trek franchise needs a hit. If it tanks, we won't see another star trek film for centuries.

Which is probably why they're being played by older actors than the rest. I think this is gonna "fit" better than people expect it to. Though I do think it's very possible that the events in the movie will result in a divergent continuity that future installments with this new cast will be set in. Sort of an in-story continuity reboot. Of course that's a COMPLETE guess based solely on Nimoy's presense (time travel) and the obvious creative want/need to be able to tell stories without worrying about continuity restraints from 40 years ago.

I liked the original series....... with Capt. Kirk throwing the movies on the vividly colored Alien Women...... it was good fun.... never watched anything newer than that though......

I'd be more interested in the original show hitting blu-ray

YEAH!!! Would love to have the new re-mastered version of the TOS, that would be amazing on BD, it's on my wish list.
