I hope Twilight Time announces The 3 Worlds of Gulliver on Saturday. Sony's done a great job with their Harryhausen scans so far so this release should be just as awesome.

I don't own this set, but I do own the standalone Via Vision release of The Golden Voyage of Sinbad and that looks and sounds fine to me. About £130 cheaper than the Twilight Zone release as well, if scalpers on eBay are to be believed. I don't see why the other films in the set should be any different from their American counterparts, I imagine Sony gave them the same masters as they used themselves or licensed to TT. Just don't mention the isolated scores.

I have 1080i C4 versions of Gulliver and Gwangi - both look great. Gwangi has switched over to BBC2 but their broadcast a few weeks back was not billed as HD |

I can't wait to get The Valley of Gwangi on blu-ray. I'm not sure why Warners is waiting on this when every other Ray Harryhausen film has been released or announced (The 3 Worlds of Gulliver should be announced any day now by Twilight Time). It's great to hear that those who have seen some form of hd broadcast of Gwangi all say that it looks really good.

![]() When does the coupon expire? Cause I'd also be buying Jason and the Argonauts in the order. Especially to put a custom Criterion LD-to-DVD disc with it as the second disc. It's about damn time I finally start my Ray Harryhausen Blu-ray Collection. ![]() |

No need to get Jason and the Argonauts with your order because it's part of that 4 movie set (unless you want a stand alone copy as well). Now is a great time to start your Ray Harryhausen blu-ray collection since every one of his movies has either been released or announced in HD except for The Valley of Gwangi. The 3 Worlds of Gulliver will be officially announced some time this month by Twilight Time.

I should get the Sony set too while I'm at it. No idea why I didn't start it back when I was first collecting Blu-rays in 2007-2008. |

Some companies that release BDs certainly are polarizing when it comes to people wanting to purchase from them. I totally understand. I just hate seeing people cutting off their nose to spite their face. To me, it doesn't matter who releases the movies.....if it's a movie I want I don't hesitate to buy it
![]() As for starting your hd Harryhausen collection it's never too late ![]() |

I don't want to pry, but at the same time, my curiosity is getting the better of me. Could you explain very briefly, without getting too deeply into the subject, what you have against Twilight Time?

Absolutely not. My own decision not to support Twilight Time is my own business as a Blu-ray disc collector and something I'd rather not get into. |
