I hate DST. I would love to see it abolished and stay at Standard Time year-round. DST is utterly useless these days and still having daylight at almost eight o'clock at night is just ridiculous.

I'm having a hard time waking up at 5am. That loss of an hour is still killing me.

I didn't even notice it, but I was on n/s, so that's probably why.

This is why we have DST at least by me.

On March 13th the first day of DST, sunrise was at 7:10 am and sunset at 7:01 pm

If we didn't do DST by December during the longest night of the year, sunrise would be at 8:17 am and sunset would be at 5:42 pm if we didn't set our clocks back.

For someone like me, who gets woken up by sunlight getting up would be hard.

I love daylight savings time.

And it takes me no more than ONE day to adapt (generally, there is no time required for me to adapt...I reset the clock and resume life at the adjusted time). What's the deal with people who have such a weak constitution that they have a problem with this? Are people today really so delicate? Seriously ladies, just suck it up for a day.

Here's another thing...where I live, the sun in late June rises at 5:19AM DST. If we stayed on standard time during the summer, that would mean sunrise at 4:19AM. Furthermore, at these higher latitudes, the morning sky starts to get bright more than an hour before sunrise. I don't need a bright sky at 3:00AM.

Normally the adjustment of the clocks have no affect on me, but today, I suffered some serious jet lag. Not sure why. I tried going out and start doing some early Christmas shopping, but the jet lag was so bad that I had to go home and take a long nap. Very odd!
