BDP-S300 Remote work with a PS3? - Blu-ray Forum

This is my first post here and I own a BDP-S300 and today after the sales
dropped on the ps3 I picked one up. My question is will the BDP-S300 remote work on the PS3 and if so how to you program. Thanks

The PS3 works with RF remotes only. The BDP-S300 is a IR remote and will not work.

added:Bluetooth uses short range RF.

I doubt. PS3 remote is bluetooth, all others are either IR or RF.
The only solution is to plug special USB dongle unto PS3 and use a IR remote or teach codes from that remote to your universal remote. Which is what I am planing to do.
