Also worth mentioning that Kmart sale is actually on Thanksgiving day...yep they are open.

Well,there goes the aspect that the holidays actually ment something now that department stores are opening on thanksgiving for sales and now have brought down the holidays to nothing more than financial gain and exploitation.

This of course does not include the convenience type stores which are usually open year round 24/7.

There is the home shopping networks which have also diminished the holidays by having christmas sales in june or july and with it not being the end of summer yet and these shows could have discounts without them including a holiday name to entice or excite a viewer(s) into a purchase or atleast wait until after turkey day to promote xmas purchasing.

since when has the Holidays not been about financial gain and exploitation? ...all holidays have ever been are marketing ploys designed to make you buy stuff.
