Many have mentioned The 'Burbs already and I will back that up again. Much better than the recent Universal US disc.

I just got Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia from Arrow today as well and it looks much better than the Twilight Time US release. Very much worth it.

Looking at movies flagged "locked" in my collection on here there's actually very few movies not available in the US at all. It's mostly filled with better editions, mostly from Arrow. Coffy, Rollerball, Runaway Train, The Train, stuff like that. Pan's Labyrinth is perhaps a little better on UK disc than the Criterion, depending on who you ask.

If The Ipcress File is really locked I think that's a good spy classic.

Most of my region B favorites are either silent films (and that doesn't sound like what you're looking for) or have subsequently gotten region A releases but this one might be worth a look.

Twilight Time released it in the US but the limited run of 3,000 sold out and I can see why.

It's not really my cup o' tea (though I definitely enjoyed it) but it's a very well-made mix of conspiracy thriller, horror and sci-fi with a really nice package of supplements and a fantastic transfer.

Oh yeah The Fury. Not only is the Twilight Time sold out, it looked like ass. The Arrow is a great looking remaster. A must-buy if you like De Palma or sci-fi/horror from the time period.

These are my favorites that are currently only available in region B locked form:

There are also plenty of region B locked releases that are superior in one way or another to their region A counterparts that should be taken into consideration.

I bought for US $20 but it looks like it's on sale. That's a crazy good deal.
I just got it for $16.41 shipped. I had never seen it over at JB Hi-Fi and I only seen it in a few other placed for around $30 so this is awesome.

Does it look any better than the US disc?

I was able to play that in my Region-A PS3. So I didn't think it was region-locked at all, unless it's locked on some players but not others (in which case it could be issues with the menus or something).

Movie looks good and sounds incredible on Blu-Ray, but the picture is cropped on the sides and the opening crawl is all German.

Movie itself sucks, but I love it anyway.

Oh ok just heard few say it was locked to B. The film is awfully bad but i think its a must have even to laugh at how dumb it is. Definitely a guilty pleasure

Double Dragon is a so bad it's good movie that I watch all the time. The Punisher does have a recent Region Free version from Australia but the German Steelbook is sweet.

Oooh, didn't realize this was available anywhere. I kind of remember having a mixed reaction after renting the DVD however many years ago but I've been wanting to give it another look.

Wait, what?

Also these are superior from the Domestically US of A releases. (Either best PQ/AQ, complete features, NOT BD-R, etc. But in certain cases if you enjoy the movie enough, it's fine to own more than one version/release of.)

Hope this excessive list helps!

Yes! That one is a beauty. One of my favorite releases and there's no comparison to the Scream version.

Heartily recommend these two...

And loads of Arrow titles. They are amazing.

lol, I remember watching it on DVD for the first time and my mom was the one who mentioned the insane camera angles. It is really extreme throughout the movie, and once I noticed it I couldn't stop fixating on it.

Does seem a little less overbearing when the frame fills up the whole 16:9 TV though. Something about the wider AOR, even though it shows more, also makes the angles look more exaggerated. So I appreciate my German disc for filling the screen, even if I have to put up with seeing less ruined buildings and landed spaceships on the screen.

I'm also not 100% sure if it truly is a cropped image or one of those cases (like with the UK's Equilibrium) where you lose the sides but gain top and bottom information.
