BDP S300 Firmware - Blu-ray Forum

I am confused, i see on blu-ray.com they have the 4.3 firmware upgrade released as of October 30th or thereabouts, i downloded it, but i am in Ireland so i looked at www.sony.ie and they have the following firmware update as their latest one, which doesnt mention anything about TRUE HD feature, question. Can i just go ahead and use the firmware that is on the blu-ray.com site or use the european one that mention nothing about true HD support?

Stick with the one from your region. It may be something as simply as controlling region codes on movie releases. You don't want to take the chance on it mucking up your machine and then sending it in for service.

Other people may have other experiences.
