Talking my new panasonic 50" pz700 and 1st ever bd watch

i am quite new here and have really let myself down with still listening to a 37"philips crt. but not any longer

i have just indulged myself with the latest version of the viera range from panasonic....the 50" pz 700 (1080p) along with bowers and wilkins mt-10 speaker package. then i bought a 60gb ps3 exclusivly for bd viewing and hooked it all together with hdmi...oh and upgraded to sky hd......

holy shit ...its so amazing

last night we watched ghost rider through the ps3 and it was just fantastic.the picture is the mutts nuts and the sound through the sony 5.1 receiver was far better with the b and w package....i even finished work early sunday morning so i could get another bd fron blockbuster and be all happy again.

i am new to the techno jargon so if you do post here with questions on the panny please use simple terms for a simple (but deleriously happy chappie)

Nice!

(though SkyHD looks somewhat less impressive to me in the shops these days after watching bluray at home . It's not bad for the weakest link in the chain though! )

Sounds like you need to get a few PS3 games and get friends over for a BD party. But make sure you do a DVD/BD comparison when you want to WOW them over. Glad you are enjoying your purchase.

Sweet! The situation in which you find yourself now is commonly referred to as "Blu-ray Heaven". Enjoy.
