I am on the 3 at a time plan. Yesterday Netflix received 2 of my returned movies and shipped out 2 new movies. Thats standard. However, I had Bottle Rocket at the top of my list and they did not have it available, so they shipped the 2 below that. Today I received an email stating that they didnt have Bottle Rocket at my local distribution center and thats why they didnt ship it, however, they are shipping it today from a different facility. So, without any complaints or queries from me (no contact whatsoever) they sent me a bonus disc. GOOD SERVICE

Shipping update

Dear Danny,

Bottle Rocket was not available from your local shipping center. Fortunately, it was available from a shipping center in another part of the country. It's on its way and should arrive within 3 to 5 days.

You'll notice we also recently sent the next available DVD from your Queue to enjoy while Bottle Rocket makes its way to you.

Your Queue now shows this extra DVD rental. Enjoy.

They sent a movie for me from another center a few weeks ago but they didn't send me another movie in my que while I waited. punks.

Sounds like they got caught in a throttle. They typically send me the "don't have it available but we'll ship it from another region" email once I get and send back a movie on the same day.

I dont think so. They sent me the 2 they owed me (on time) AND an additional flick. I have 4 movies out, and I am only on the 3 plan. First time it has happened to me.

Confirming this also happened to me this week. Appears to be something new on their part, a new policy or something new they are trying/testing, perhaps to keep people from canceling as money gets tighter for many. I am on the 3 plan, I have 4 out and I got the same email about a different title as it shipped from far away. Pretty nifty.

So that bozo Swanni's lame boycott is unnecessary? That guys' such a doof. On the one hand, Netflix has every right to charge more for discs that cost more. But him to crab about what netfix does with that extra dollar was lame... glad to hear they did right by you Squiddy - without a childish boycott.

And at least you get to SEE Bottle Rocket... BB, BJ's and Target don't have it here - so I don't even have the possibility...

I have never had a problem with them. I have seen movies and tv shows that I could NEVER find at my local video store. A smile comes accross my face everytime I see the red envelope in my mail box.

My co-worker, put The Dark Knight in his que 3 days before the release and still got it on release day, He loves his Netflix and has never had a problem. He is very close to converting me.

I've been thinking of re-joining Netflix (or joining Blockbuster) since I got my Blu-ray player last month.

The only thing keeping me from joining so far has been lack of free time. I barely have enough time to watch to stuff I have saved on my DVR.
