Default Latest lawsuit against Sony

http://www.ps3fanboy.com/2007/07/31/...tion-demanded/

This is getting old - the bad thing about this one is they want all PS3s destroyed and anything else Sony has made w/the cell processor. These little pissant companies need to go somewhere.

Since IBM (along with Toshiba) helped in developing the Cell processor, I'm sure Sony can state IBM has prior knowledge about parallel processing that pre-dates PPC's patents. Also seeing how IBM has a ton of patents, I'm sure there's probably a few patents that PPC is infringing on and they'll drop the lawsuit against Sony since IBM makes Cell based servers.

that is so the case. Pattent squatters + sleezy attorneys get me. the cost of fending them off reflects in higher prices on us the customers. but i do find the lawsuits laughable. Somone should do a comedy routine on this.
