PS3 Internet Browser - Blu-ray Forum

I absolutely love my PS3 but the one area where I'm starting to get frustrated is with the internet browser. Are they going to work on this and make it more compatible with different websites?

The latest is the official Indiana Jones site. Used to be able to go there, couldn't watch the QT vids. but you could at least get on the site. They re-vamped the site a week or two ago and now you can't even look at it. I think it's Flash.

I can live with/understand not being able to play *all* types of video files and such. But it seems a little out of whack as far as not even being able to view major websites.

I'm not a computer expert so go easy on me if I'm expecting too much.

I don't think your expecting too much. But I think we need to be patient and hopefully sony can come out with some compatible plug-ins that work with the browser to accept all these different codecs.
I agree with you, browsing the internet is annoying if you can't visit all sites.
Flash seems like it would be a no brainer for Sony..hopefully they'll hurry up and get 'em out there!

Install Linux and run FireFox perhaps?
