Thanks, but I really need the UK edition because of the English subtitles, that the Dutch one doesn't have.

I still never got round to picking up any of the Saw movies on blu. Could never decide on which was the best version to get. I've been told that either the French or the German boxsets are the ones to look at. Apparently the Dutch version currently going for 21 quid on Amazon is so shoddy that some reviews are crying bootleg.

Anyone point me in the right direction?

Metropolitan's French set (which I have) is absolutely the way to go. It's pricier than the German set but it's worth it. All films have DTS-HD MA sound and I think at least some of the German discs are DTS-HD HR. Also, I think the French set is the only one with the 121 minute extreme director's cut of Saw III.

The " List of International BDs with Better PQ, AQ, and/or More Extras" thread shows the French versions of Saw I and Saw III as better than any other versions available.

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=179724

Good news: No forced French subtitles.
Bad news (if you are not in Europe and you are not region free): Region B locked.

Edit: Oh, you were the one asking questions in the second thread I posted the link to above. So, again, go French on this one.

Thanks guys. Just ordered the US set. Didn't realise as a plus Saw 2 is 1080p in t he US set too.

About £15 delivered from amazon.com.

I didn't think I needed to go with expedited shipping since the product was only £11.99?

This will be under the customs limit won't it?
