No thanks.

Aside from the obvious plethora of extra's that are the usual from Arrow...what's the point? It's already been remastered, and the 2014 transfer looks amazing.

Having the original mono mix and theatrical cut for starters. The '14 disc is already is a fantastic disc but is also solidly stacked with bonus features as well. If Arrow made this their debut UHD...I'll just link them my bank account.

I don't want Arrow to start turning into Double Dip Factory (Unless Arrow start doing UHDs then take my money).

Unlike so many others, I don't go all weak at the knees over a bit of cardboard or a booklet, etc.

This'll be one of two things: it'll either be a swaggy edition with a poster, book, and art cards, or it'll be a trilogy box set. I hope it's the latter, as I like RoboCop 2 quite a bit and haven't got round to importing Shout's collector's edition.

I saw Robo in London on release in the UK and it was an "Ultra Stereo" release.

I'll keep an eye on this, though the 2013 is already a good release. But oh for Arrow to make this their debut 4k release...!

I just speculated on the Arrow thread that Terminator may be the acquisition that got Fran Simeoni excited. I can certainly see Arrow doing this, now that they've got Robocop. We need DEFINITIVE editions of these classics on disc, not just great transfers in eco packs - and who better than Arrow? Yes, the 2014 release of Robocop was fantastic BUT it needs a better overall release. Better in terms of inclusion of the Theatrical cut for those that want it, the original mono mix for those that care, a substantial doc, fresh interviews, better artwork and, last but not least, nicer packaging. I hope they give this the chipboard box treatment.

I want nothing less than a talking Robocop figure!

Pulls string...

'Stay out of... trouble!'

Pulls string again...

'Dead or alive... you're coming with me!'

Let's make it happen!!!

The MGM 4k master release is already pretty great, but I love this movie enough to re-buy it anyway.
